The R.I.M. Integrated Dance Wellness™ Method is the signature therapeutic movement framework developed by Manasi Joshi, founder of Rejoice In Motion. Rooted in Dance Movement Therapy and informed by physiotherapy and dance movement psychotherapy principles, this method integrates body awareness, expressive movement and mindful embodiment to support emotional wellbeing, stress regulation and self-connection.
R.I.M. Integrated Dance Wellness™ Method views the body as both a source of information and a pathway to healing. Through guided movement, rhythm, breath and creative exploration, participants are supported in reconnecting with themselves in a way that feels safe, accessible and sustainable.
Why the Method?
Manasi created the R.I.M. Integrated Dance Wellness™ Method by weaving together her academic background in physiotherapy, professional training in Dance Movement Psychotherapy, and her personal journey with movement & mindfulness as a tool for self-healing.
Over years of working with individuals and groups across diverse settings, she recognised the need for a method that:

- Encourages emotional expression without forcing catharsis
- Is adaptable for different bodies, abilities and comfort levels
- Has a certain level of structure to provide a framework & yet is intuitive and adaptable as per need

Grounding & Regulation
These sequences focus on cultivating body awareness, rhythm and internal sensing. Grounded in somatic and physiologically informed practices, they support nervous system regulation and stability.

Inner Connection & Elements
These sequences invite participants to listen inwardly and connect with bodily sensations, imagery, elements or props. The emphasis is on mindful movement, curiosity and gentle self-exploration.
