Manasi Anand is the founder of Rejoice In Motion, a movement-based wellbeing initiative. She is a Certified Dance Movement Therapy Practitioner with an academic and professional background in physiotherapy and orthopaedic manual therapy. Her work integrates movement, body awareness and expressive practices to support emotional wellbeing, self-connection and holistic self-care.
Why Dance Movement Therapy?
Manasi’s interest in Dance Movement Therapy began in Mumbai after attending a dance movement therapy based session for the differently-abled individuals. Witnessing the joy, connection and engagement that emerged through movement & dance, she was inspired to explore this approach further.
This led her to do a certificate course in Dance Movement Therapy, which she combined with her physiotherapy background to create a dance & movement-centred approach that supports self-awareness, expression and overall wellbeing. This integration became the foundation of Rejoice In Motion.
Professional Background
With formal training in physiotherapy, Manasi has experience across areas such as women’s wellbeing, orthopaedic manual therapy and corporate wellness.
